According to the weekly newspaper Der Spiegel (May 26, 2007), numerous metalworkers would not be able to beneficiate from the important wage increase (+4.1%), which social partners agreed to at the beginning of May (see our story n°070398). Indeed, they would be the victims of a reorganization in the tariff system, which the union IG-Metall obtained in 2002. IG-Metall partially denied this information. (Ref. 070474)
