During his tradition Autumn statement, delivered on December 3, the Chancellor promised additional help in the form of zero national insurance contributions for businesses hiring young apprentices.
Last year’s commitment to abolish, from April 2015, national insurance contributions for businesses employing under 21s was extended to apprentices under the age of 25 from 2016.
