The long running blacklisting dispute between the construction unions and the main construction companies is now due to head to the courts because after the breakdown of voluntary negotiations the companies have launched a compensation scheme which the unions refuse to take part in. The unions will now pursue compensation in the courts where they believe they will gain a better outcome.
