Nearly 700 employers from all sectors and all sizes, for a total of 2.4 million workers, were surveyed by the CBI, which recently published a new report entitled: “Ready to grow: business priorities for education and skills.” 51% of employers wonder if they will be able to find applicants for positions requesting a certain level of university skills – or even higher – in the future. 32% of them are not confident they will be able to find enough people with the skills needed for their intermediate-skilled roles and 30% think that the need for low-skilled workers is going to decrease.
