The professional acceptation of new European Union's immigrants is increasing in Great Britain, where twice more companies have taken on citizens of the ten new countries since one yeays, according to a survey published by Manpower. (Ref. 06425)
Within the twelve last months, 12% of the British companies have hired employees from the ten countries that have joined the European Union on May 1st 2004, against 7% during the year following their accession, according to a survey by the temporary work specialist Manpower, carried out among more than 2000 employers. According to the Ministry of the Interior’s figures published at the end of February, more than 345000 immigrants from Eastern Europe have made their entry into the United Kingdom
