On 11 September 2023 the UK executive published its ‘Suicide prevention strategy for England: 2023 to 2028’ policy paper, at a time when Scotland, Wales, and Ireland already have their own strategies. The document recommends, but does not oblige, employers to develop employee support programs, training for managers and internal communication networks.
