On 13 November UK PM Theresa May received fourteen European business leaders’ representatives, from various Member States including Germany, France, Spain and Italy, the goal of which was to address Brexit. Although no major breakthroughs were forthcoming, the meeting did give European business leaders an opportunity to express their anxieties over uncertainties surrounding Brexit and request clear responses from the PM before the end of year holidays.
Consternation: this was the word sitting on the lips of the 14 EU business representatives that came to London on 13 November to meet with PM Theresa May.
