A new regulation states that British jobseekers have to accept the highly controversial zero-hours contract – which doesn’t guarantee minimum hours or pay. The noose is tightening around British jobseekers who, by virtue of a new regulation, are now compelled to accept zero-hours contracts if they are offered one, at the risk of losing their return-to-work payments for 3 months.
