Prospect, the white collar union for technical and professional staffs like scientists, engineers and managers, has signed what it is calling a 'landmark' union recognition deal with Babcock International-Nuclear covering over 500 staff. (Ref. 130588)
It means Prospect will now be able to bargain collectively for the terms and conditions of employment of the professional, technical and some administrative grades in Babcock Nuclear Services and Construction Services Group businesses. The deal covers six Babcock sites in Leicester, Bristol, Warrington, Dounreay, West Cumbria and Newbury.
