Universities accreditation of company trainings is now possible thanks to the creation of the Employer Based Training Accreditation program (EBTA). This governmental initiative will enable to consult employers about the trainings, to be able to make them comply with university standards. In February, the government already allowed some companies to have their training validated by the organization in charge of delivering national degrees. (Ref. 080232)
The EBTA program was officially launched on March 10 by the MP Kelvin Hopkins, chair of the All Party Parliamentary Group on Further Education and lifelong learning and by education minister Bill Rammell.
