Great Britain: round 2 of funding for corporate projects improving employees’ skills

Skills Minister Matthew Hancock announced on November 20 that businesses can now bid to receive part of the GBP 150 million (nearly EUR 187 million) government fund for the development of skills. (Ref. 120681)

£250 million in total. These £150 million make up round 2 of the Employer Ownership of Skills Pilot (EOP), a competitive fund open in November 2011 by the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills and the Department for Education, providing £250 million (about €311 million) to employers to invest in their current and future workforce’s skills and training.
