…Great Britain: the GMB union pushes for a decent living wage
The GMB general union, the third biggest union with just over 610,000 members, is campaigning for a £10 per hour ‘living wage’. The campaign was launched at its 2014 congress in June and is now being pursued through a number of strikes with private sector contractors.
