Great Britain: two-day national strike in postal sector

Mail will be totally blocked for several days. The CWU said that it made an offer to Royal Mail’s management, which the latter rejected without even looking into it. The company said the strike was “an appalling and unjustified attack on customers.” According to the union’s assessments, 42,000 mail centre staff and drivers will walk out on October 22, and 78,000 the next day – which will completely block mail.
