Great Britain:government tightens the screws in terms of labor immigration

Fewer jobs offered to foreigners. In a major speech about immigration, Gordon Brown revealed his projects to make it harder for foreigners to enter the country. Thus, after the reduced list of jobs offered to immigrants was published on October 21 by the Migration Advisory Committee, the government announced that it accepted the entire list. At little less than 500,000 people (less than 2% of employees) currently perform one of the jobs on that list – which contained 700,000 jobs last year. The government wants to take another 290,000 jobs from this list within a few months.
