The Greek labour ministry announced on 20 February a reduction in social security contributions for overtime, night work, Sunday work and work on public holidays. From March, these contributions will be calculated solely on the basis of the hourly wage corresponding to eight hours’ work (the legal daily working time). It will no longer take into account the relevant supplements for these cases – 20% of pay for overtime hours, 25% for night work and 75% for work on Sundays and public holidays. “
