Since June 15, the German group Hager, specialized in electric installation equipment, is recorded in the Saarbrück trade register with the status EC. On September 18, 2007, staff representatives from 27 countries gathered at Obernai (France) for the advisory session of the European works council of the EC. (Ref. 070766)

Hager Group’s European vocation is, so to speak, written in the company’s “genes”. Created in 1955 by Peter Hager in Ensheim (Saarland), the company is German but it was born at a time when Saarland was still French. In 1960, the company opened a second production site, this time in Oberlai, Alsace.
