Hungary’s manufacturing companies are currently having to cope with serious manpower management challenges. According to a recent survey, 88% of businesses are struggling to manage a manpower shortage. In addition and as a consequence of the supply side shortage, new groups of workers are coming to the labor market and posing company management with a whole new set of issues. Comprising generation X and Y cohorts these new workers also include a significant number of non-educated profiles, those without previous work experience, and in many cases people with reading and writing difficulties.
Ms. Katalin Csikós-Nagy, CEO of HR-Evolution says companies are facing into significant headwinds.
