Inditex signs joint declaration with EWC on older workers

After mobilising in November against its management over value sharing, the European works council of the Inditex fashion group (162,000 employees worldwide) signed a joint declaration with the company on 26 January 2026 on older people in the workplace. The aim of the declaration is to establish common objectives with a view to preserving the jobs of the employees concerned, in light of the ageing population, their specific needs and the need for the company to facilitate the transfer of skill
