During a conference in Amsterdam on May 7 and 8, organized by Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), Guy Rider, general secretary of the International Trade Union Confederation (ITUC) presented a trade union guide on the GRI’s directives to prepare sustainability reports. This is the first time a trade union organization has organized an operational document on this theme. (Ref. 080441)
This publication, prepared by the ITUC and aimed at union members, was prepared as a practical guide for social responsibility or sustainability reports, which is a regular practice for many companies. More and more companies base their reports on the GRI guidelines – the GRI is a private Dutch law foundation which gathers the parties interested by social responsibility and sustainability.
