The Cisl’s 17th convention came to a close on June 15. 1,082 delegates representing over 4.4 million members gathered under the slogan, “Italy and responsibility, a new union for a new country.” The Confederation’s priorities for the four years to come include a fiscal reform to cut taxes for employees and businesses, new social policies and the establishment of a new, “responsible, participative and popular” union ideal, in order for the Cisl to be more present in businesses and the country.
