Italy: banking sector social partners agree to extend their collective agreement renewal date

On 26 April, and with procedures for the renewal of the banking sector national collective bargaining agreement (NCA) falling behind schedule, both the employers’ organisation (ABI – Associazione Bancaria Italiana) and the trade union bodies (FABI, First-Cisl, Fisac-Cgil, Uilca and Unisin) agreed to extend the NCA’s renewal date until 31 July 2023, some seven months beyond its original expiry date of 31 December 2022.
