…Italy: Chamber of Deputies approves modified edition of the Jobs Act
In the evening of 25 November, the Chamber of Deputies approved a modified version of the Jobs Act, a bill which enables the government to reform labor law. The most significant modifications concern the criteria for lay-offs (Article 18), social shock absorbers and active policies, work contracts and equal opportunities. The bill will therefore return to the Senate for a second reading, with definitive approval by 9 December.
