Italy: collective agreement renewed at Poste Italiane

Following almost two years of negotiations, Poste Italiane signed a new collective agreement with the Slc-Cgil, Slp-Cisl, Uilposte, Failp-Cisal, Confsal and Ugl trade unions. Penned on 30 November, the new national collective agreement applies to 140,000 workers at the largest Italian company, in terms of the size of its workforce. The agreement applies, retroactively in part, for 2016, 2017 and 2018. It includes a monthly pay rise of 103 euros on average, while trade unions also obtained guarantees on working conditions. The text now needs to be approved by workers.
