Italy: Council of Ministers approves decree-law on emergency measures to revive employment
On June 26, the Council of Ministers approved the decree-law on emergency measures to revive employment and social inclusion. The key measures include recruitment incentives for 18-29 year-olds, jobseekers and disabled workers, internship subsidies and incentives to work-study training. With a total budget of €1.5 billion, the government believes that the measures could help create 200,000 new jobs. (Ref. 130435)
