Italy: decree on early retirement for work hardness published in the Official Journal

Novelties.  The new regulations determine the list of hard jobs which include, among other things, night work in some circumstances*, work in narrow spaces, in galleries, mines, high temperatures, chain work (automotive production, household appliances, clothing, footwear, industrial baking), as well as driving public transportation for at least nine people.  Until 2017, to access early retirement, the employee has to have performed hard work for at least seven years over the past ten years of work.  Starting in 2018, this period will be extended to at least half the professional career.  While retaining the minimum criterion of 35 years of contributions to access retirement, early retirement can vary of one-three year(s) from normal retirement age.
