The Milan Public Prosecutor's Office has ordered two of Italy's leading food delivery platforms, Foodinho (Glovo) and Deliveroo, to be placed under judicial administration. According to magistrates, the remuneration of two-wheeled couriers violates the Italian Constitution as it is not "proportionate to the quality and quantity of work" and frequently falls below the poverty line. Between them, these platforms employ 60,000 bicycle couriers across Italy under "self-employed" status.
