o (Lombardy) on Sunday, the leader of Confindustria (employers’ federation) and the leader of the CGIL, the largest Italian union, started patching things up while a major disagreement on the reform of the conventional system stands between them. On the eve of renewing collective agreements, this return to dialog should ease a social climate under pressure because of the economic crisis and the deterioration of the employment market.
