With Italy’s corporate community increasingly prioritising diversity and inclusion, the nation’s leading banking group is extending its parenting related measures to all different family types.
The agreement signed at the end of May by Intesa Sanpaolo and the FABI, First-Cisl, Fisac-Cgil, Uilca and Unisin trade unions, extends the banking group’s parenthood measures to different types of families, and notably to family configurations where the children are those of the partner, be they married, living in a ‘civil union’ (same sex marriage does not exist in Italy) or in a co-habiting arrangement.
