Data from the National Social Security Agency (INPS) show 300,000 new permanent jobs (indefinite employment contracts) were created in the first 8 months of 2015. Are the numbers being boosted by lower social charges making these types of contracts less expensive as compared with unstable jobs or is this a sign of just the labor market itself picking up? A rise in the number of indefinite employment contracts. According to the National Social Security Agency (INPS) data published on 12 October for the first 8 months of 2015 compared with the same period in 2014, show that 299,375 more indefinite (permanent) employment contracts and 29,377 more fixed term employment contracts were created. 276,658 (up 17.4 % year on year) fixed term contracts were converted into indefinite contracts.
