Following on from the group’s four-year (2015-2019) strategic (partial) privatization plan, a framework agreement catering for the reorganization of its postal services and distribution activities was signed by the group and the trade unions. The agreement looks to ‘rebalance’ the group’s businesses via, inter alia, new distribution models for both letters and packages and will overhaul the country’s postal workers’ activities. The agreement also bolsters industrial relations within the group.
On 25 September, ahead of its expected autumn introduction onto the stock market and following its agreement (June 2015) on new models for postal services (c.f. article No. 9157) Italy’s postal services provider concluded a framework agreement with unions concerning reorganization of its Postal, Communications and Distribution division.
