During his first visit outside the Italian territory to attend the EU Council of Ministers of last 1 and 2 June, the Italian Minister for Work, Cesare Damiano, gave elements on the government's projects relating to retirements pensions and labor market reform. (Réf. 06572)
Retirement pensions. The minister affirmed that it was not necessary to re-open the retirements pensions issue. He rather plans “to work on the reform conducted by the government in 1995” in order to guarantee, mainly, “a flexible exit of the labour market on the basis of workers’ choice”.
