Thales Alenia Space's Italian unions Fim-Cisl, Uilm-Uil declared two hours of strike and asked to meet with the government and the Italian aviation and defence group Finmeccanica to talk about the latter's alliance with "Thales' French side". The world leader in electronics and system, which, since a few months ago, owns almost 67% of the company after Alcatel-Lucent sold its shares, is accused of favouring French research sites.
