According to the CGIL, bill 1441 - currently under discussion at the House of Representatives - is aimed at weakening article 18 of the status of workers which imposes the reemployment of workers dismissed without a fair cause. This article was already almost repealed eight years ago, without success because of the major union reaction. (Ref. 080789)
