Attracting more members and strengthening unions in the workplace and across the country. Such are the priorities taken up by the 6th CGIL conference, held in Rome on September 17 and 18. One of the means to succeed is a new general assembly comprising a majority of workers in active employment that will be put in place in all the federations and that will be used to elect general secretaries and secretariats.
