On 09 September the Italian government in collaboration with Google and Unioncamere (the Union of the Chambers of Commerce) launched the “Growth from digital technology” project, which dispenses free training, including paid company internships, for the 700,000 youths enrolled on the Youth Guarantee program. The goal is to strengthen digital skills in this cohort thereby improving their job prospects as well as promoting a digitalized SME sector.
This is a concrete example of the importance of public private collaboration for “driving innovation and broadening youth opportunities”.
