Italy: the referendum organized by the Fiom denouncing an agreement on the restructuring of Alenia Aeronavali failed

On September 9-11, 2008, the Fiom organized, on all the sites of Alenia Aeronavali (a company with a workforce of 1.300 belonging to the group Finmeccanica), a referendum to rescind the separate agreement on the management of the restructuring of the firm signed in June by the Fim-Cisl and Uilm unions, which marked a break between the three unions. On September 9-11, the Fiom organized this referendum on the repeal of the restructuring agreement signed on June 16 with the objective of reopening negotiations to improve it with the support of the workers.
