“A stability act for employment and growth” is the title of the documents signed on September 2 by Giorgio Squinzi, leader of Confindustria, and Susanna Camusso, Raffaele Bonanni and Luigi Angeletti, leaders of the CGIL, Cisl and Uil unions. This is the first realization of the “producers’ pact” (employers and workers) to get out of the crisis, mentioned last spring by the leader of Confindustria. He initiated this agreement, which melts union and employers’ claims down into a joint framework. (Ref. 130523)
Calling on the government to maintain its repeated commitments on work (see article No. 130293), they list their priorities and ask for “permanent dialogue with the social powers” and a “clear commitment in the coming months, starting with the stability act” currently being defined.
