The amendment signed on 22 June amends the 21 November 2000 agreement, which has already undergone two revisions (first in 2008 and then in 2013).
The new elements signed upon include:
The EWC is to be consulted on “all cross-border projects (…) impacting at least 40% of the headcount or 20 employees in one of the countries affected by the project and at least 20 employees in total across all of the other countries affected by the project”.
