Employees from the banking and insurance sectors in Lithuania can now join a trade union, created on May 12 and 13, a first in the Baltic states. (Ref. 070434)
“This is a historical day, opening the way for a new era in Lithuania”, the president of this new union – Ramunas Markauskas – declared with no doubt; he was elected during a meeting last May 12 and 13. A six-point action plan was adopted on this occasion.
