Just over one third (37 %) of Lithuanians believe men and women have equal rights to compete in the labour market, compared to 43 % in 2004, according to a recent survey conducted by “TNS Gallup”, released in February.
According to “TNS Gallup”, increasing gender-based discrimination together with “job emigration” and decreasing workers loyalty to their companies are the three main problems in Lithuania’s labour market at the moment.
