On November 13, employees elected their representatives to the Chamber of Employees (CSL) and employee representation structures at company level. The first report shows that the union landscape hasn’t changed. The OGBL remains the first union organization. ALEBA still holds a majority in the banking industry, although it has lost ground. Besides, there is a majority of employee representatives who are not affiliated with a union, especially in businesses with 100 workers or less. Finally, in spite of an emphatic union campaign, unions failed to mobilize voters for the Chamber of Employees election. (Ref. 130717)

On November 18, the government of Luxembourg published partial, unofficial results (before the official publication of the results based on the minutes) for group 1 (steel) and group 8 (CFL or national railway).
