An important small business specialized in software, the Mensch und Maschine Software AG (MuM) company adopted the status of European Company (EC) in December 2006. The main goal is to clarify decision center and to protect itself against the possible influence of employees in the company. (Ref. 070621)

In 2006/2007, a few German companies announced their change in judicial status from Anonymous Company (AG) to EC. Next to the giants BASF (see our story 070573), Allianz (see our story 06938,) or Porsche (see our story 070573), there is also a small business, Mensch und Maschine Software AG (MuM AG). Based in Wessling, next to Munich, the company possesses about twelve commercial subsidiaries in as many countries, mainly European, and notably in France, specialized in the production of drawing
