In the fight against child labor, remember that Morocco has signed two international conventions. ILO Convention 138 that forbids children under the age of 15 from working and Convention 182 on the worst forms of child labor, for children aged 15-18. For several weeks, the Moroccan government has been working on a bill to legislate on the conditions to recruit employees under the age of 18. The point is notably to define the relation between domestic staff and their employers but also to update the list of hazardous work that cannot be performed by underage workers.
