The debate on gender quotas in the boards of directors of companies listed on the stock market is still on, with a bill presented on April 18 by two MPs from the Labor Party (PVDA), member of the governmental coalition. Since January, in Norway, 40% of board
members must be women (against 10% before the law was adopted). In the Netherlands on
the other hand, women don’t account for more than 5%. “A level as low as
