An agreement reached between the Social Partners and presented on September 8, 2008, encourages employees to work from home to reduce traffic jams. Besides, this agreement exempts companies from paying the corporate income tax on public transnational and car rental expenses. (Ref. 080684)
The agreement also plans that part of the transportation costs per individual car will be tax deductible from the employees income, up to €0.19 per kilometer, without having to spend at least 70% of working time at the office as before.
