On the 21st of April, employers and trade unions have reached an agreement on the new Collective labour agreement (CAO) for Metal and electrical engineering industry. In the beginning of June, the members of FNV trade union have agreed to CAO. Therefore, the Generation Pact will come into force.

The CAO will be in force from the 1st of May, 2017 to 31st of May, 2019 and will apply to almost 300,000 employees from the installation sector, metallurgy, gold and silver industries.

Pay and adjusted youth scales. During the period of 25 months the employees will receive the salary increase of 4,16%. According to the new CAO the wage increases are as follows:

Per 1-8-17: 1,75%

Per 1-1-18: 0.35%

Per 1-7-18: 1.75%

Per 1-1-19: 0.31%

The youth scale A / 2 will be adjusted according to the new rules reg
