Netherlands : the number of dismissals decreased by 12 % in 2005
According to figures published on last 12 May by the ministry of Social Affairs and Employment, dismissals fell by 12 % in 2005. On a total of 142000 files trated last year by the Center of work and income (CWI), 75000 related to dismissals via an amicable agreement (-18% compared to 2004) and 68000 involved a legal procedure (-6%).
