Strike ends at VW Bratislava (Slovakia). On 25 June, following six days of full continuous strike action, which for the first time since 1992 has hit the site that employs 12,300, both the German automaker and trade unions secured an agreement to raise pay by 13.5% up to August 2019 that will be paid in three parts plus a €500 one-off bonus. Unions had been calling for a 16% raise and employees had also been looking for one extra day-off.
