Following the trade union coordination meeting, organized under the auspices of the European metalworkers' federation (EMF,) on May 25, 2007, after the management announced the European restructuring plan (see our dispatch n°070465,) European metalworkers' unions have decided to organize a European day of action, on June 12, 2007, to protest against the 9,000 jobs that are about to be cut in Europe.
