esult of the merger of the networks groups of Nokia and Siemens, agrees to start negotiations on the setting up of a European works council. (Ref. 070535)

The EMF states that along with its affiliates it welcomes this announcement with satisfaction. The union’s organisation has been calling for a works council so as to be able to inform and consult the European employees of the new group currently going through a phase of restructuring.
